" I have been a veterinary surgeon for over 20 years, and bred Ocicats for 12 years.
So I was asked by friends in early 2007 to visit Prowlers Bengals with them to
ascertain if the kitten they were seeking to buy was healthy and well socialised.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Rachelle has a great set-up for breeding
Bengals. The conditions in which they were kept were spacious and well designed,
and the kittens, which were house-raised, were very healthy and well socialised. I
happily advised my friends that this would be a good place to purchase their Bengal
kitten, which they did, and they have no regrets."

I felt that I would like to include in a our website a referral from a certified veterinarian who visited our cattery not in his capacity as a veterinarian
but as a favour to his friends who were considering purchasing a Bengal kitten off us. The agreement between them before they came was that
they would not make a decision on the day but would visit and then afterwards get Bernard's opinion on our whole set up and the health and
happiness of our cats and kittens before they even considered to book a kitten... however after being with us for 5 minutes they had been given the
*nod* from Bernard and with his help were quick to choose and reserve one of our available kittens as their new addition. Consequently a few
months later they came back to purchase another Bengal kitten from us, and have since become one of our biggest advocates :-)
I included this referral in the hope that for people whom for geographical reasons are not able to visit with us before making a decision on
becoming a Bengal owner may feel some reassurance as to the way that we raise our Bengal babies, the sociability and health of our Bengal
kittens viewed through the eyes of an experienced and certified veteranarian. We not only raise our Bengal babies with much love and attention but
with the responsibility of nurturing someones adored future companion and family member.
